The M•access range includes:
- The K-File cross section is square from 006 to 040 and triangular from 045 onwards.
- K-Files are used for penetration and enlargement of the canal.
- The recommended motion of action is clockwise with rotation at half turn twists.
- The K-Reamers cross section is square from 008 to 040 and triangular from 045 onwards.
- K-Reamers are used for enlargement of the canal.
- The recommended motion of action is clockwise with rotation at quarter turn twists.
- The Hedstroem cross section is cylindrical.
- Hedstroem files are highly efficient at removing dentine when used in a filing motion.
- The recommended motion of action is referred to as the withdrawal stroke as it cuts in an upward motion.
- It is particularly useful with retreatment cases.
